Stomach Scan

Are you suffering from abdominal problems, maybe you need a stomach scan? There are many problems that come from the stomach area, the most common are Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Stomach flu, inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and many others.

If you are worried about any of the above diseases and the symptoms that come with them, why not book in for a private stomach scan? Because it’s private you will get seen much quicker than going through your doctor and the NHS, of course, there will be a charge to go private but it is not normally as expensive as you think and can start from as little as £89.

A stomach scan can identify many problems such as abdominal tumors or cysts, gallstones, kidney stones, and hernias, it can also detect cancers of the stomach and liver disease. The sooner these types of diseases are found the better.

The major organs of the abdomen include the appendix, gallbladder, Bladder, large and small intestines, pancreas, liver, spleen, and of course the stomach. A stomach scan will usually take approximately 30-45 minutes, and a report will be compiled and sent to your doctor. The procedure will usually involve the use of a transducer, this will send high-frequency waves over your body, it is non-invasive and will not be painful.

With a stomach scan, you will be asked not to eat anything before the scan for at least 6-8 hours, but you will be allowed to drink fluids, but they must be clear, so water would be fine. You may also have to remove any tummy piercings.
